Description
The Ambient ACN-CL The Lockit – Being a Lockit at its core, the ACN-CL carries the DNA of its predecessors and inherits all the unique and appreciated features, combined with the unprecedented ease of use that has been first introduced with the NanoLockit.
Battery Pack:
The replaceable lithium-ion battery can be charged during operation – never again an empty battery when it just does not fit. The NP-50 battery is available in many places together with inexpensive chargers. Since this battery type is also used in top-class wireless systems, you do not need to pack additional batteries with your equipment, but you can use the same as for your transmitter.
Display:
Like the NanoLockit, the devices can be jammed at the touch of a button to the current time of day in the internal real-time clock. The Lockit comes with the added benefit of a crystal clear OLED display . It also works as a master, automatically jamming devices that are added or restarted within a day.
The OLED display also has a handy timecode comparison tool , which we delivered with firmware 6.0 . This way, you can easily check if your equipment is still running synchronously – as always on a hundredth of a frame exactly.
Dimensions and Signals
Usually our smaller devices have an addition like Tiny or Nano . The ACN-CL is proudly named Lockit because, like its predecessor, it provides both timecode and sync signals .
Because it was developed for today’s device landscape , it offers all the necessary camera sync signals with 1080P and 1080i from 23.976 to 60 FPS . For audio recorders Wordclock is available from 48 to 192 KHz. Adjustment has never been easier – with only two parameters.
Outputs:
Two lemo jacks give you maximum flexibility and you can continue to use your existing cables. TC input and output follow the industry standard and allow two cameras in parallel with time code to supply or jam by cable, while the Lockit is connected to the camera.
One jack carries timecode and genlock / wordclock, the other timecode and the serial ACN metadata signal. So you have free choice to use an output for sync and the other for time code or a Y cable with both signals.
Power and Charging:
A non-rotating USB-C port is used for charging and external power supply. If you connect your Lockit with a Mac or PC, it automatically becomes the MIDI Timecode Interface and you can make further settings on the device.
All this and much more is housed in a compact aluminum case that is even smaller than the ACN-TL TinyLockit and even the ALL601 LancLogger.
