Ambient QXS5100 Boompole – The QXS series has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of current reporting and the documentary. The often hectic everyday life here requires a rod, which offers the sound engineer above all flexibility and reliability.

In order to provide the required stability despite the need for lighter materials, the QXS pipes are produced using the so-called pull-braiding technology. A very light and stable tube with a wall thickness of only 1 mm is produced by braiding under high tensile force.

The resulting five-segment design offers maximum flexibility. Despite the compact transport dimensions, the angling can be extended to large lengths if required. The new lock nuts now offer the grip known from our  QS premium fishing tackles . Ideal for hectic everyday life and working with gloves.

The optimized angle of the compression rings and the steeper thread of the nuts ensure a faster, stronger and safer locking of the fishing segments. The segment screw connections consist of aircraft aluminium, while a stainless steel threaded tip, milled from the solid, is designed for thousands of hectic microphone changes.

In the current reporting, every moment counts. Therefore, two internally wired versions are available. Both the version with spiral and straight cables are ready to use.

In doing so, the conceived connections avoid the dreaded cable salad. The cable of our own production has a polyurethane jacket, which guarantees longevity and flexibility down to -40 ° C.
