Atomos Ninja V+ monitor-recorder is brand-new family member in the line-up alongside the award-winning Ninja V, the new Ninja V+. Amongst other upcoming exciting features will bring stunning 4Kp120 ProRes RAW recording to our customers, ready to support the new firmware for the Sony FX6 and FX9 announced last week.

Introducing Ninja V+
Only subtly different in terms of design, the Ninja V+ is a powerhouse of video and image processing. Next-gen chip technology enables higher frame rates and higher resolutions for ProRes RAW recording over HDMI, in addition to all of the features of Ninja V that Atomos users have come to expect.

The Ninja V is constantly evolving to keep up with market developments, to ensure that it remains relevant and to continue driving demand. In line with these new product announcements, we are also therefore expanding the functionality and features of the Ninja V Family line-up by introducing H.265 recording with H.264 due to follow in a future firmware update.

H.265 is already pre-activated on the Ninja V+ and will be available to purchase for 99 eur/$ the activation code through Atomos website in Ma 2021. for the Ninja V to meet the changing demands of video production and recording with options for:

10-bit Recordings in 4:2:2​

8-bit Recordings in 4:2:2 and 4:2:0​

XQ – Bit rates up to 350mbps​ / MQ – Bit rates up to 200Mbps​ / LQ – Bit rates up to 100Mbps

Perfect for:

Recording long-form sessions or productions on a fraction of the drive space – removing time limits and restrictions

Capturing delivery codecs ready to share from video streams or presentations for upload to CDN, Intranets, etc

For recording RAW internally on ARRI or RED with a simultaneous H.265 external recording with the same file name and timecode, and the option to burn in your choice of 3D LUT
