All four wide-angle lenses can cover Vista Vision (Ø 46.31mm), making them compatible with larger-format cameras like the Red Raptor 8K VV (Ø 46.31mm) and Alexa LF Open Gate (Ø 44.71mm).

The ultra-wide perspective also creates an exaggerated sense of space, making it useful for certain situations or for achieving dramatic effects.All four lenses feature a solid, compact build, each weighing approximately 520 – 640g. Despite their wide perspectives, the 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm lenses maintain Laowa’s renowned “Zero-Distortion” design. With close focusing distances ranging from 12 cm to 20 cm, users gain greater creative flexibility in composition, allowing for enhanced depth or dramatic perspective.

The four wide-angle cine lenses can focus as closeas 12 cm to 20 cm (4.72 to 7.87 inches). This close focusing capability provides cinematographers with
greater creative flexibility, making it easier to achieve a shallow depth of field and pleasing bokeh. Shooting closer to the subject with a wide-angle lens also exaggerates foreground elements, adding depth and visual impact to the scene. While not true macro lenses, these close focusing distances enable the capture of fine details and compelling close-up shots.

Thanks to its low-distortion design, the lenses deliver excellent sharpness from centre to edge. It also offers low chromatic aberration, minimizing
color fringing around high-contrast edges and resulting in cleaner, sharper footage.

Weighing approximately 520–640g, these lenses are lightweight and versatile, making them ideal for various shooting setups, including gimbals, drones, handheld, rigs, and other stabilizing equipment.
