Sigma 28-105mm Art Lens

Description

The SIGMA 28-105mm F2.8 DG DN | Art lens is constructed with 18 elements in 13 groups, including 2 FLD, 1 SLD, and 5 aspherical elements. It features an inner focus system and is compatible with high-speed autofocus thanks to the HLA (High response Linear Actuator). The lens also supports Lens Aberration Correction, but only on cameras that are compatible with the function. The items that can be corrected may vary depending on the camera, and automatic correction may be performed. On cameras that allow selecting ON/OFF for lens aberration correction, the various aberration corrections can be set to ON (AUTO) from the camera menu.

The SIGMA 28-105mm F2.8 DG DN | Art lens also supports DMF and AF+MF, as well as AF assist (for Sony E mount only). It features Nano Porous Coating, Super Multi Layer Coating, and a Water and Oil Repellent Coating on the front element. The lens also has an aperture ring click switch, aperture ring lock switch, AFL button (2 locations), Focus Mode switch, Zoom Lock switch (locks at wide end), and support for switching between linear and nonlinear focus ring settings (for L Mount only). The lens has a dust and splash resistant structure, a petal type hood with lock, and is compatible with the SIGMA USB DOCK UD-11 (sold separately / for L Mount only). It is designed to minimize flare and ghosting, and every single lens undergoes SIGMAs proprietary MTF measuring system. Other features include a 12-blade rounded diaphragm, high precision, durable brass bayonet mount, and it is made in Aizu, Japan.
